Finally, a cupcake that is not only fat free, but calorie free as well. Too good to be true, you say? Well, kind of, because tasty as it looks, I wouldn't recommend eating it.
In "mocha" or "strawberry", they're the latest from the crystal palace of Judith Leiber (do you think Swarovski has a bigger customer?). A tiny swirl of appropriately hued crystals tops a decorative "wrapper"...silver fluted for the mocha, and a pale gold basket weave for the strawberry. I love that they're youthful, but not juvenile like the Hello Kitty group. And they really brought a smile to my face...even after seeing the $4,295 price tag.
Usually I don't really go for the Leiber Minaudieres, it's more my mother's thing. I may have to suggest she think abut picking up a snack for herself. She's a good sharer.
